Dear you...

When we first met near on 10 years ago I didn't realise who you would be. Our paths have crossed countless times in that time but we never stopped to see what would happen if we took a minute to look deeper than the surface of our friendship. To me you were always the outgoing, laddish, extremely popular guy that was always smiling and looking at me with kind eyes. I was shy, quiet and nobody knew my name, except for you, you always knew me.

On the 6th of June this year you messaged me after we bumped into each other at the pub a couple of weeks before hand and spent the whole night messaging back and forth, until you asked me to go to the cinema with you that coming Thursday, I must admit I hesitated but thought to myself "what have I got to lose, if anything this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship" If only I knew then what I know now. I would have ran straight to your house that moment and never let you go.

The 9th of June rolled round and at 6:30pm I saw the face of the man I was about to fall madly in love with. We went to see Alice Through the Looking Glass, which I thoroughly enjoyed, even though you fell asleep hehe! I can forgive you though since you had been awake since stupid'o'clock that morning. After the film had finished we wandered up to the pub and stumbled upon an amazing acoustic performer, whilst listening to the beautiful music and having a couple of beers we started to relax around each other and before I knew it you were making me laugh so hard my belly hurt and I had tears rolling down my cheeks.
It was the most wonderful evening and every day since then has been magical.

We have had lazy weekends watching horror movies, romantic picnics, dinner out, dinner in bed in our pyjamas. We have gone out and drank far too much together, we have stayed in and just cuddled all night. While all this has been happening we have fallen deeper and deeper in love with one another and it feels more incredible than anything I have ever felt in my life. I am so thankful and blessed that you have
re-entered my life, I love you babe and I can't wait to see what life has in store for us.

I love you from here to mars

Always yours XxXxXxX

Life As We Know It...

When I was a little girl I used to dream about what my life would be like when I grew up. I changed my aspirations on a bi-weekly basis, I wanted to be a nurse, an archaeologist and a scientist just to name a few. Something that never changed though is the dream of one day becoming a wife and a mother. My life hasn't turned out the way I dreamed it would when I was 5, 13 or even 18, but I am happier than I have ever been, I love my job and I have an incredibly loving boyfriend who treats me like a princess.

I turned 25 yesterday and I want to document the next year of my life, mainly for me so I can look back and see what has changed or just as importantly what hasn't. I spent the weekend with my friends and family eating and drinking slightly too much, laughing so hard my tummy hurt and getting emotional at all the wonderful things my loved ones had to say about me.

I thought I would kick things off with a few facts about me and since I am 25 why don't we try 25 facts... If I can think of that many!! So, here goes...
